OUIGO headed to Córdoba Live on a press trip packed with live music, culture, great food and an XL activation that didn’t go unnoticed.

Some plans don’t start when the stage lights come on, but long before that. And that was exactly the case at Córdoba Live. OUIGO sponsored the festival and pulled off a press trip that blended music and city life in a way that was well worth experiencing in person.
Joining the trip were outlets such as GENTLEMAN, InStyle, Cadena SER, LOS40, La Razón and Expansión, as well as influencers Marta Pérez and Eider García. The full combo for discovering Córdoba.
First, Córdoba is tasted - then danced to
The experience began with a calm arrival in the city and check-in at the hotel. No rushing: first you rest, breathe, and then you head out to conquer the night.
Dinner at El Churrasco and nocturnal magic at the Alcázar
Córdoba has that something that wins you over at any time of day, but at night it plays in a different league. The first plan was one of those that just works: dinner at El Churrasco and then Naturaleza Encendida at the Alcázar. The perfect mix to kick off the weekend in style.
A guided visit to keep falling in love with Córdoba
The next day, it was time to wake up with even more enthusiasm. The group enjoyed a guided tour through the Jewish Quarter and the Mosque-Cathedral, two stops that are pure Córdoba. Streets steeped in history, corners that feel made for getting lost on purpose, and a city that leads the way without you even noticing.
Good food is part of the trip too
Because a getaway without a proper meal just isn’t the same, the group had lunch at Ermita de la Candelaria. Another moment to slow down and chat through everything they’d already experienced.
And that’s Córdoba for you: it gets you energised and relaxed at the same time. That’s the trick that makes the trip stay with you.
When music calls, OUIGO answers
After a well-earned break, it was time to head to El Arenal Fairground, where Córdoba Live takes place. That night’s concert was by La Oreja de Van Gogh, with Amaia’s return being one of the big moments of the event.
The festival’s most famous XL seat
Before the music kicked off, many stopped by the most photographed activation at the venue: a giant replica of OUIGO’s XL seat, with the stage in the background. The perfect meeting point to sit down, snap a photo and keep the memory.
Because yes, sometimes a festival is also best enjoyed from the comfiest corner of the site.
OUIGO balls to warm things up
And to get the energy going, OUIGO tossed balls into the crowd to liven up the wait. A simple, fun and very OUIGO touch: adding more fun to the plan and getting everyone in the mood to have a great time.
By the time the concert started, everything was ready: the crowd, the atmosphere and the energy to give it their all.
Córdoba Live: a plan that goes far beyond the stage
The best thing about this trip was exactly that: it wasn’t just about the concert. There was food, culture, discovery and activations that matched the spirit of the festival.
A weekend like this shows that going to a concert can be the perfect excuse to escape to a city like Córdoba, let yourself go and experience it to the full.
Heading back to Madrid with a full battery
After the concert, it was time to return to Madrid the following day. A journey back with the festival still very much on the mind, full of songs, plans and photos that keep making you smile days later.
Córdoba Live - a plan that deserves a ticket there and plenty of reasons to do it again
Córdoba Live made one thing very clear: when music, the city and the experiences all line up, the plan practically makes itself.
OUIGO was there to be part of the journey, the activities and the atmosphere. Because when the plan is this good, the answer has to be yes — and all in. So you know what? We should do Córdoba again sometime 😉
