OUIGO at Feria de Sevilla 2026: when the Real fills with lights and dancing

24/04/2026

OUIGO was at Feria de Sevilla 2026 on the Noche del Pescaíto. Discover how we experienced the alumbrado, the casetas and the most flamenco celebration of the year.

If there is one date in the Andalusian calendar that brings everything to a halt, it is Feria de Sevilla. A whole week when the city dresses in flamenco style, rebujito flows like water and sevillanas can be heard on every corner of the Real de la Feria, Seville’s fairgrounds. This year, OUIGO also wanted to be part of one of the most iconic celebrations in our culture, bringing a group of influencers to experience it all: from the alumbrado to the very last heel tap. And yes, there was pescaíto, dancing and a whole lot of joy.

What Feria de Sevilla is, and why it is pure Andalusian art

Feria de Abril de Sevilla is much more than a fair: it is tradition, culture and emotion in their purest form. Held in the Real de la Feria, in the Los Remedios neighbourhood, this celebration transforms the city for a week into a sea of lights, casetas, horses and impeccable flamenco dresses.

It all begins with the alumbrado, that magical moment when thousands of light bulbs illuminate the Feria gateway and officially kick everything off. From then on, the casetas open their doors — well, some are private, but the atmosphere is everywhere — the music never stops, and dancing sevillanas becomes the week’s official language.

From daytime to dawn: this is how the Real is experienced

The Feria has two equally spectacular sides. By day, the Paseo de Caballos fills with riders and horse-drawn carriages parading through the albero sand while the casetas serve tapas, ham and, of course, rebujito. At night, the Real turns into a show of lights, live music and dancing until dawn. It doesn’t matter whether you know how to dance sevillanas or trip over your own feet trying: everyone joins in here.

Flamenco dresses and rebujito leading the way

If there is one thing that defines Feria de Sevilla, it is the aesthetic. Flamenco dresses are the absolute stars: polka dots, flowers, ruffles and colours all competing to be the most spectacular. But make no mistake, men join in too with short jackets, hats and that unmistakable flamenco air you only really see here.

And then there is rebujito, the Feria’s official drink. Manzanilla or fino with lemonade-style fizzy drink (the famous green-labelled one), ice, and you are good to go. Cold, refreshing and perfect alongside pescaíto frito, prawns, ham and everything else that passes across the caseta tables. If you still have not tried Seville’s typical food, Feria is the perfect time to catch up.

Noche del Pescaíto by OUIGO: our way of experiencing the Feria

This year, OUIGO wanted to be part of Feria de Sevilla in the best possible way: by taking six influencers to experience the Noche del Pescaíto, an evening that began at 300 km/h on our trains and ended dancing sevillanas into the small hours. Their adventure started by travelling with OUIGO from Madrid, and when they arrived in Seville, a welcome pack full of flamenco touches was waiting for them: a polka-dot scarf, a fan and stickers to complete their looks.

Before the big moment, they stopped for a bite: a little ham, pescaíto frito, Spanish omelette on a skewer and, of course, ice-cold rebujito. The finishing touch came with the alumbrado of the Real, that magical moment that officially starts the Feria, before getting lost among casetas, music and dancing until dawn.
