Tired of complicated choices?
At OUIGO, we make life simple so you can focus on what matters: the joy of travelling! In addition to the OUIGO Essentiel ticket, OUIGO offers two formulas to tailor your journey: OUIGO Plus at €9 for comfort, and OUIGO Full at €18 for all-inclusive. Discover our three formulas below for a journey that lives up to your expectations.
OUIGO Essentiel is quite simply the essentials included in your ticket. When you buy a ticket, it automatically includes one hand luggage item (40 × 30 × 15 cm max) and one cabin bag (55 × 35 × 25 cm max). Options, such as an extra (or oversized) bag or seat choice, remain à la carte.
OUIGO Essentiel is available whatever the type of train, on High Speed as well as Train Classique. It's the ideal formula if you travel light and at the best price.
The OUIGO Plus formula adds to OUIGO Essentiel the extra bag, seat choice (power socket, Solo, etc ...) and OUIFUN. Charged at €9 per adult and free for children under 12 travelling with an adult, it's only available on OUIGO High Speed.
With OUIGO Plus on High Speed, the OUIFUN offer is automatically included. It includes OUIFI, to get online during your journey, and a catalogue of entertainment: films, series, press, podcasts, music, games…
On OUIGO High Speed journeys in France, the OUIGO Full formula includes all the benefits of OUIGO Plus and adds OUIGOFLEX, which lets you exchange your ticket free of exchange fees, apart from any fare difference, as many times as you like up to 30 minutes before departure. OUIGO Full is offered at €18 per adult and is free for children under 12 travelling with an adult. The formula is only available at the time of booking.
On the Paris–Brussels route, OUIGO Full is €16 per adult… and 100% free for children under 12! It's the perfect deal for travelling with peace of mind as a family while enjoying the flexibility of OUIGOFLEX (excluding the OUIFUN service, which isn't available on this route).
Please note: taking out an OUIGO formula necessarily applies to the whole travel booking (all travellers and all journeys in the booking).
COMPARING FORMULAS
You can switch from OUIGO Essentiel to OUIGO Plus up to 30 minutes before departure. However, switching to OUIGO Full isn't possible once your ticket is bought: this formula can only be purchased at the time of booking. Good news: if you exchange your ticket, all the options included in your chosen formula are kept on the new train; just remember to choose the seats where you'd like to sit on your new journey.
What's the difference between the OUIGO formulas?
OUIGO Plus and OUIGO Full are reserved for High Speed and the Belgium line.
Can I switch to a higher formula after purchase?
From OUIGO Essentiel to OUIGO Plus, yes, up to 30 minutes before departure. To OUIGO Full, no: it can only be bought at the time of booking.
