OUIGO Grande Vitesse

OUIGO or TGV INOUI? It's easy to get tangled up! Both are SNCF Voyageurs brands running on the same high speed network, but with two different philosophies. We'll give you the lay of the land, so you know exactly what you're getting into (and where to put your suitcases!).

Difference between OUIGO and INOUI - Comfort

When it comes to comfort, the main difference between OUIGO and INOUI is class. With OUIGO, you travel in a single class for everyone, with seat selection (for an extra charge), allowing you, for example, to have a socket at hand to charge your electronic devices. With TGV INOUI, you can choose between travelling in 1st or 2nd class, each offering features to suit your wishes.

Difference between OUIGO and TGV INOUI - Ticket sales opening

OUIGO puts its tickets on sale twice a year, up to 9 months in advance, giving you the chance to plan your trips and enjoy attractive fares, whereas INOUI lets you buy tickets 4 months in advance, with occasional exceptional sales openings during holiday periods.

Difference between OUIGO and TGV INOUI - Exchanging tickets

Ticket exchange flexibility is a major distinction: OUIGO's OUIGOFLEX option lets you change your journey an unlimited number of times up to 30 minutes before departure (with a possible fare adjustment), whereas INOUI generally allows changes up to 7 days before departure and, case by case, up to 6 days before, with tickets becoming non-exchangeable and non-refundable after departure.
