Something unexpected? A change of plan? OUIGO tickets can be exchanged with or without fees, depending on the options taken out with your booking. We'll walk you through the solutions available to you.

A last-minute change of plan? Change your ticket!

Is your train no longer right for you, or do you need to leave earlier or later? You can exchange your ticket for another OUIGO train, up to 30 minutes before departure. The cost of the exchange depends on your situation: OUIGO Essentiel (no option), the OUIGOFLEX option or the OUIGO Full formula, taken out at purchase. Here are the three scenarios:

Key points:

Exchanging an OUIGO Essentiel ticket (no option):

The fees are €19 maximum per traveller and per journey. The fees cannot exceed the ticket price. On top of this comes any fare difference if the new ticket is more expensive than the original one. If the new ticket is cheaper, the buyer receives a voucher for the amount of the fare difference.
Maximum deadline: You can make this change up to 30 minutes before departure of your train. After this deadline, the ticket is permanently lost: it can be neither exchanged nor changed.
Journey conditions: Exchanges are only possible for another OUIGO train. You can change the date, time or journey of your train.

OUIGOFLEX or OUIGO Full:

The OUIGOFLEX option is offered at €9 when booking and must be taken out for all passengers on the booking (it is free for children under 12 if the accompanying adult has taken the option). This option entitles you to unlimited exchanges and free of charge. Only the fare difference between your old and your new ticket remains payable if the new train is more expensive. You can change the time or date of your journey up to 30 minutes before departure.
OUIGO Full is a formula offered at €18 when booking on OUIGO High Speed, and always free for children under 12 (accompanying an adult who has taken the formula). The OUIGO Full formula includes a suitcase, seat choice, access to OUIFUN and the OUIGOFLEX option. With this formula, you can make unlimited exchanges, free of exchange fees (only any fare difference remains payable).

OUIGO perturbé ou annulé

If your train is cancelled or disrupted, several solutions are available to you to manage your journey free of charge:

Exchange your ticket: You can opt for another OUIGO train with no exchange fees or fare difference, within the 7 days before or after your original departure date.
Cancel your journey: If you'd rather give up on your trip, you can request a refund of your ticket.

How do I exchange my train ticket?

Need to exchange your OUIGO ticket? It's very simple:

Log in: Go to "My trips", on OUIGO.com or your app
Select: Choose the booking and the journey you'd like to change
Choose a new train: Select another OUIGO train on the same journey
Confirm: Pay any fare difference and receive your new ticket

Rather than losing your ticket, resell it to another traveller via OUIGOSWAP, the online resale platform between individuals.
