Train station: Alicante-Terminal

  • Alicante-Terminal train station is centrally located and very well connected. You can reach it by public or private transport. There are several bus lines from different parts of the city that will take you to the station and you can also use the Alicante city metro, the Tram.

    If you are a bicycle or scooter user, you can also get to Alacant-Terminal by these means of transport. Remember that on OUIGO low cost trains you can add the option to your tickets to take your bike or scooter on your journey.

  • Alicante-Terminal has all the services of a modern, well-equipped station. It has a tourist information desk, restaurants and cafés where you can eat or have a coffee, press and book outlets, ATMs, luggage trolleys and luggage lockers where you can leave your luggage while you visit the city. The station also has services for people with disabilities, such as specially adapted toilets and parking areas.

  • The Avenida de Salamanca, where the Alacant-Terminal train station is located, is very central and, through it, you will be able to get to know many of the most interesting places in the city of Alicante. From the station, you can walk to the Plaça dels Estels, known for being the stage for the celebration of the most popular traditions among the people of Alicante, such as the mascletás, the Bonfires of San Juan or the Three Wise Men parade.

    The Plaça dels Estels is the starting point of Avinguda Federico Soto, one of the city's main shopping streets.

  • Don't leave Alicante without seeing the Cara del Moro, on the western side of Mount Benacantil. The unmistakable profile of the rock owes its name to a beautiful and sad legend about the impossible love of an Arab princess, daughter of the leader of the Muslim medina who lived in the fortress, and her beloved. Unable to be together, the lovers plunged into the void. The princess's father, broken with grief, begged Allah for the worst of punishments for himself, and was petrified on the hillside below the castle.
