By train from Massy Palaiseau to… Nantes!

Nantes, nicknamed the “City of the Dukes”, the “Queen of Magnolias” or the “Venice of the West” is a welcoming city and a lovely place to wander around. Stroll around the castle of the Dukes of Brittany and admire its Gothic and Renaissance styles: it has an easy walkway. Be awestruck by the incredible "Machines de l’île du parc des Chantiers", a steampunk park that will amaze young and old. Treat yourself to a ride on the wood and cast iron elephant or hop on the "Carrousel des Mondes Marins", a theatrical 360° carrousel with incredible marine-inspired sculpted seats. Fancy a spot of shopping? Head to Passage Pommeraye with its monumental staircase and huge glass roof.
